1 - BEHAVIOUR
Dance is an excellent way to encourage good behaviour in your child. From an early age your child will learn how to listen and follow instructions, wait their turn and share with their classmates. They will also learn how to work with other students in a team.
2 - PHYSICAL SKILLS
By taking dance classes your child will develop physical skills at an exceptional rate. These include Fine-motor skills, Balance, Co-ordination, Flexibility, Strength and Spacial awareness. Your child will also learn musicality and how to express themselves freely.
3 - CONFIDENCE
At CK Dance Academy our goal is to make all children confident in their own ability, both in and outside of the dance studio. Our classes encourage all children to show off their skills to their peers both on their own and in a group. We provide our students with a safe place to express themselves and be their own unique self!
4 - FRIENDSHIP
Children that dance together stay together! By taking dance classes your child will meet a range of people. They will meet children they don't go to school with and children of all different ages and abilities. In our dance classes they will create a social bond with their classmates and find friends for life.
At CK Dance Academy we want our students to have the best possible experience and doing it with their friends will only increase their enjoyment for dance.
Tier 4 procedures.
Whilst in Tier 4, we will be continuing to keep our students progressing with online learning. Learning online is a great way for students to keep up with their training and avoid missing out on vital classes which will aid them in their dancing journey. It provides students with some consistency and will aid them greatly once returning to the studio.
Tier 3 procedures, for physical classes.
Our procedures for keeping you safe whilst operating in tier 3 are as follows.
Any student over the age of 11 must wear a mask for the duration of their time in the building, with the exception of when in class, socially distanced.
All students must sanitise their hands on entry & exit of the building.
Parents: we are opporating a drop-off only policy. Please socially distance from other families whilst waiting for staff to collect your child.
No one is to arrive more than 5mins prior to class to avoid contact.
Students are to bring minimal possessions with them, and parents are to take these home whilst their child takes classes, where possible.
All students are to dance in their designated zone.
Please do not attend dancing if you have been told to isolate, have any symptoms of Covid-19, cough or cold or any other illnesses. If you have been told to isolate, we will "zoom in" students where possible.
